Management of a national radio station for Pick n Pay (JSE Listed) including 200+ stores. Expanded radio feed into Zambia. Portfolio included overseeing 2 direct reports, Marketing/ PR, Sales, Business development, Stakeholder management, and general operations.

  • Managed the radio station for Pick n Pay South Africa and later on, Pick n Pay Zambia. 
  • Managed responsibilities for General Manager when she was on maternity leave.
  • Ensured the successful management of the national radio stations for Dischem and Builders Warehouse (South Africa & Bostwana).
  • Compiled advertising logs for Pick n Pay's radio stations.
  • Managed the relationship with ad agencies and executed all advertising requests.
  • Scheduled and managed voice artists, and booked studio time accordingly. 
  • Monitored and maintained all studio equipment.
  • Co-ordinated production requests.
  • Managed team of staff show presenter and production engineer. 
  • Produced the Morning Show.
  • Developed and maintained a positive relationship with the client, Pick n Pay.
  • Television presenter for internal TV show Fresh Connextion from 2012 - 2013.
